Pronouns: She/Her
Graduate Degree: PhD in Counseling Psychology (anticipated 2024)
Graduate School: University at Albany, State University of New York
Interest/Clinical Experiences: I have an interest in working with BIPOC communities and underrepresented students (e.g., 1st generation college students, graduate students, international students, LGBTQIA+ students) who are struggling to navigate mood disorders, anxiety disorders, relationship conflicts, career difficulties, adjustment to college, and trauma. As a psychologist in training, I have also had some experience working with individuals who struggle with disordered eating.
Treatment Approach: My clinical work is guided through an integrative, collaborative, and multicultural lens that aims to understand an individual’s unique life experiences and intersecting identities. Cultural humility, social justice, and empathy are essential factors to my treatment approach. I hope to cultivate a safe and empathic space for individuals to openly express themselves, be curious about their identities, and feel empowered to make decisions in their personal and academic/professional lives.
